How Should I Get to the Venue?

Where should I park?

For the church ceremony, parking will be available in the school's parking lot next door. For the reception, valet service will be provided onsite in addition to on-street parking.

 

What should I wear / Is there a dress code?

While no dress code is enforced, semi-formal attire is recommended. 

Our theme is vintage carnival. For the reception, feel free to let our theme inspire your attire. Both wedding and reception will be indoors.

 

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Feel free to come in your favorite  attire, just avoid wearing white.

 

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely!  This is a kid friendly event.  We hope to see your little ones there.

 

Can I bring a date?

Please do!  We’re happy to welcome your guest.

  

When is the RSVP deadline?

While we do appreciate RSVPs, there is no official deadline.  We are always grateful to see your smiling face!

 

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes.  Feel free to let us know ahead of time so we can be the best possible hosts. 

 

Will food be served?

Of course!  Drinks, dinner, and desserts will be available. This wouldn’t be a New Orleans celebration without some classic cajun cuisine. We plan on having options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free friends and family.

 

Will there be dancing?

Of course!
 

What time will the reception end?

The reception will end at 11:30. If you still want to keep the celebration going, please accompany us to the official after party. See The Big Day for more details. 

 

Can I take pictures? 

We would love for you to take photos.  And share them too!

 

Is there a gifts registry?

Definitely, please check out the registry section on this website.

 

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

The future Mr. and Mrs. Richardson proudly say yes!
